We utilise Sophos Cloud Endpoint within our company and also resell this to our clients. We recently wanted to start using an encryption product so I got an Encryption trial in our Cloud account. I then tried to protect a new device, the installation failed. So I tried it on 3 more devices and I couldn't even install Endpoint without the device encryption.
Many phone calls later with Sophos an engineer informed me there is an issue where when a customer has the encryption license they cannot install Sophos at all. This is true because I then tried to install Sophos on an account without the encryption license onto the 4 failed machines and it worked!
When is this issue expected to be resolved? It is disappointing as I was wanting to trial the encryption product as our customers have been inquiring about it.
