Sophos Anti-Virus will not install

Hi,

 

I'm having real trouble installing Sophos on a number of machines. AutoUpdate, Network Threat Protection, Remote Management and System Protection install file but the AntiVirus fails with the following

 

Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: Sophos Anti-Virus. Product Version: 10.6.3.537. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Sophos Limited. Installation success or error status: 1603.

 

 

Sophos was previously installed. I've tried everything including scripts to remove all traces but i've come to a standstill.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

    My experience with installing this is, it is mostly other AV's causing this. 

     

    I found a reg file that disabled Windows Defender. I then go to AV website, and run their removal tool. (I wish SOPHOS would have one of those :( ) and then tun the .NET framework repair.  That fixes the MSI installer, and any .net drama.  

    Reboot

    I find this fixes a lot of issues. I now have situations where it installs, but, I can't see the agent ><
