10.6.4 Preview being rolled out

Hello all,

notices that SUM has downloaded 10.6.4. in the Preview subscription. Upgraded a Win 7 Enterprise and tested the Enhanced Tamper Protection (aka Sophos Endpoint Defense). As far as I can see some services are not protected (Network Threat Protection, Patch, and System Protection). There are some other changes and you might want to read the relevant articles (at the time of writing there are 22 articles explicitly mentioning 10.6.4).

    Hello all,

    finally got around to upgrading SEC to 5.4.1. As far as I can see the AV&HIPS policy GUI does not support the Enhanced Exclusions available on the endpoint (neither process exclusions nor the "better wildcard handling"). Contrariwise the Live Protection for on-demand scanning can only be disabled from the console, this is documented though and supported since SEC 5.4.0).
    BTW, the number of articles mentioned above is now 24.
