I have a little problem getting the Device Control working as wanted. It seems to randomly fail to do its job at Endpoints. We use a Sophos UTM 9.40 and Connected Endpoints for ensuring, that only USB devices we testet for Malware etc. can be used in our network. However, the Endpoint seems to have huge problems handling our policys. I give an example of one USB Stick I testet and then put into my workstation to allow the device. At first it was unable to block the device (ErrorCode=-4). Once I put it Out and back in it worked as expected (Second and third line). Then I allowed the device in our network, updated my endpoint for the new policy, and voilá: I couldnt connect the device (Error Code-5).
This is getting pretty annoying since I am held responsible that our users can use the devices I allowed. Any Ideas how to debug this one?
