Should I regret buying Sophos End Point Protection???

I purchased this from a third party vendor as I was told it was easy to use and set up.  After two days of email with vendor, who were no help at all, and many online chats with Sophos, someone was finally able to help me get it all set up.  ONLY then to find out I am unable to download the Installer for Windows.  By the way none of them worked, tried them all.  I am so frustrated with this that I am considering cutting my losses and giving up.

I did try and call the Support number and twice gave up after being on hold for over an hour each time.

M Question.

Does anyone have a step by step guide on how to do this.  PLEASE DO NOT POINT ME TO THE SOPHOS HELP SITE.. It is useless.

    We have Central Endpoint Standard - Competitive Upgrade (previously Sophos Cloud Endpoint).  I have set up the license in my Sophos Central Dashboard (https://cloud.sophos.com/manage/dashboard) but when I go to Protect Computers (https://cloud.sophos.com/manage/downloads) the links to download the software do not work.

     

    This is now extremely urgent, any help would be great.

    If you create a new Cloud user (under People), add an email address, and send the deployment email.  Do those links in the email work?

    Beyond that I think you will have to create a ticket with Support to get your account checked.  The download links not working, unless you have a local issue is going to require Dev work I would think.

    Maybe you could try logging in to the console at home to see if they work. Could it be a local problem, I.e. a network device blocking the SophosInstall.exe for some reason.
