Does Auto Update make system down?

I use Endpoint security and control 10.6 on Windows Web Server 2008 R2.

I had a trouble two days ago.
It seemed to stop almost all service because all user couldn't access it and all event logs didn't write any log.
But the server answer to a request of ports monitoring in the trouble.

The event logs said nothing after the last AutoUpdate executed until  the OS restart.

I have ever had such trouble.
So I have no idea about this trouble.

If you have anything idea about this trouble, please let me know.

  • Looks like similar issue I am having with CentOS 7 with the most recent update. Same behaviour. System freezes and no users can ssh and cannot login at the terminal and no logs in the message log after the last auto update attempt until a forced restart.
