SEC Groups and Linux Hosts

I'm trying to find a way to have Linux hosts tell the SEC what group they should belong to when the install package I have created is run.

I can see this is possible with both OSX and Windows

But I'm unsure how this would work from Linux.

Anyone have any ideas/experience?

Running: SEC 5.2.1 R2

Instaling: SAV 9.7.1 (Linux)

OS is RHEL 7

does the --sec-group stop multiple entries being added when the agent is re-installed on linux?

To answer my own question, No. It does not prevent multiple entries from being created. also need to use the SEC machine name as part of the group
eg
--sec-group \servername\groupname
