Sophos Central and Server endpoints restored in TEST or Disaster Recovery centre

Question

Recently upgraded to Sophos Central 
 With out Sophos sever clients, we have these full protected in our live environment 
 we backup 27x7. 
 Occasionally we test these backups in a testing environment or at a DR centre, which have links out the the internet 
 
 How does Sophos Central react to these servers that are then restored or bought up for testing?? 
 Does it require extra licensing to be Bought?

Hi Richard, Thank you for reaching us, technically, any device/service that has Sophos endpoint installed on it&rsquo;ll require a license. If the restored system has Sophos endpoint to it and has access to the internet it&rsquo;ll reach Sophos central right away to queue for an update and check for available licenses on your central provided that no communication issue occurs from the said server going to central upon performing the process.
