I'm writing a script that should get some informations about the status of some Sophos Components.
Is there a log file/registry key/config file where is written the status of On-Access Scan? Something like "On-Access is active" or something like that?

Under Configure On-access scanning, check on Enable on-access scanning tab as mentioned here. (You can check for the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SAVOnAccess)
