please should be informed that im Unable to install Sophos endpoint server on Windows 2003 Server SP2

we got error :

entry point procedural SHgetknwonfolderpath not found in SHELL32.dll

please help we have more windows 2003 server.

Hello Sophos User825,

are you using the On-Premise Endpoint, or? What installer are you using? Just curious why it doesn't say that this platform is no longer supported, even with Extended Support.

Hello Sophos User825,

I see. As said, both the cloud and the on-premise version no longer support Server 2003. Apparently the installer doesn't check for a legacy OS version in time. SHGetKnownFolderPath was introduced with Vista/2008 so no wonder you get this error.
Again: There is no longer a Sophos version that runs on Server 2003 (or XP for that matter)..
