Cause Sophos Anti-Virus for linux is a 32-bit application. This error occurs if the 32-bit python compatibility libraries are not installed.
To download the 32-bit compatibility libraries, run the following command: sudo apt-get install ia32-libs
sudo apt-get install ia32-libs
Once the 32-bit compatibility libraries are installed, re-run the Sophos Anti-Virus install script to complete the installation.
