PLEASE READ Advisory: Kernel memory issue affecting multiple OS (aka F**CKWIT, KAISER, KPTI, Meltdown & Spectre) for the latest updates.
When attempting deploy Sophos Anti-Virus you see the error:
8007046a Could not start installation program on the computer: Not enough server storage is available to process this command.
First seen in Enterprise Console
This issue can be caused when the endpoint you're trying to protect is requesting more memory from the server than said server can give.
Note: The default size of IRPStackSize should be 4, so if you see that the client is using a lot more, you may want to increase the size. Further information on setting the IRPStackSize can be found here: kb225782
