Sophos has received intermittent reports that the 2.3.0-6 firmware upgrade causes APX 120 devices to become unresponsive and non-functional.
Applies to the following Sophos product(s) and version(s) Sophos Central Wireless and APX 120
When a user either registers a new APX 120 access point in Sophos Central or upgrades an already managed APX 120 from older firmware version to the latest Sophos Wireless 2.3.0-6 release, we have received intermittent reports that the access point is rendered unresponsive and non-functional.
Note: The behavior is observed only with the APX 120 series. Other AP and APX series are not impacted.
All Central regions have been updated with the AP firmware 2.3.0-7 to resolve the issue.
Issue should be resolved and new APX 120s can now be registered. Previously registered APX 120s can now also be upgraded to the latest firmware.
