Sophos Central Admin customers may experience sync errors logged within the AD Sync Utility tool, either running the utility Manually or Automatic.
Bellow Error will also be presented in the AD Sync Logs :

Customers may be unable to synchronize and run Sophos Central AD Sync utility to import users and following objects from the Active Directory:
First seen around May 8th 5pm EDT.
May 9th 3pm EDT - Our Engineering Team have resolved the issue and restored service.
May 8th 7.30 pm EDT - Our Engineering Team identified the root cause of this issue and actively working on a resolution for this issue
