When changing the Sophos Mobile Control SSL server certificate iOS devices show an Error 2033 even after updating the certificate. In addition, the Sophos Mobile Control app might crash when clicking on the "Synchronize" button.
Android device do not show any issue.
This issue is caused by changes regarding silent push notifications introduced in iOS 13.
After changing the SSL server certificate, the Sophos Mobile tries to send out the updated SSL certificate hashes using a silent push notification. This is currently not working correctly.
This article describes a possible workaround and the next steps regarding this issue.

IMPORTANT: Even if the Sophos Mobile Control app is not able to synchronize with the Sophos Mobile server managing the device is still possible as the built-in iOS MDM client is used. This is separated from the Sophos Mobile Control app and not affected by this issue.
Sophos development is currently working on a solution and will provide an app update resolving this issue. This article will be updated once a solution is available.
