Sophos AP/APX users may experience issues registering to Sophos Central. More info available here: Central Wireless
Sophos is investigating reports of Sophos Central users unable to register their AP/APX devices. The error "AP did not connect to cloud within the timeout" is displayed.
Applies to the following Sophos product(s) and version(s) Sophos Central Wireless
Sophos Central users will be unable to register new AP/APX devices to Central. Re-registration of existing devices is also affected.
Note: Existing AP/APX devices managed by Sophos Central are not affected.
[Update - 8/15/2019 8pm EDT] The update was released, and we are seeing intermittent success with APs registering into Central . Development are continuing to investigate and work on this issue with high priority - We will have an update on this issue as soon as more information is available.
[Update - 8/14/2019 6pm EDT] An update is currently being released - We expect to have another update by 7pm EDT today.
[Update - 8/14/2019 5pm EDT] This issue is being actively investigated by Sophos Engineering. We expect to have another update by 6pm EDT today.
