Following the release of Sophos Endpoint Security and Control 10.8.4 the following error is reported to Sophos Enterprise Console:
0000006b Download of Sophos Patch Agent failed from server \\SERVERNAME\SophosUpdate\CIDs\S000\SAVSCFXP\
On the endpoint computer:
ERROR: Download of Sophos Patch Agent failed from server \\SERVERNAME\SophosUpdate\CIDs\S000\SAVSCFXP\
This issue has occurred due to the removal of the Sophos Patch Agent from your available Sophos subscription. This has been removed as part of the planned retirement of this component:
Whilst all effort has been made to not remove this from customers who have it installed there is a chance under certain circumstances this may have happened.
