There is an issue in enabling HA load balancing when restoring a backup from CR500ia to CR500iNG-XP. The following error will appear while enabling HA load balancing:
console> cyberoam ha load-balancing on Load Balancing could not be enabled. There exist one or more dummy ports.
console> cyberoam ha load-balancing on
Load Balancing could not be enabled. There exist one or more dummy ports.
CR500ia has 10 physical ports while CR500iNG-XP has 8 physical ports. Hence, if a backup was restored from CR500ia to CR500iNG-XP, it will create two dummy ports. Due to this, HA load balancing cannot be enabled.
