This knowledge base article provides technical details about the TeamViewer integration introduced with Sophos Mobile 9.0.
After successfully binding Sophos Mobile with TeamViewer, a new action called Request remote control is available for Android and iOS devices.

To request a remote control session, perform the following steps:
On the endpoint where the Sophos Mobile admin console is open:
On the mobile device:
Note: After both parties joined the session, the administrator can now remotely control the device as supported by TeamViewer
If the remote session cannot not be established, make sure the TeamViewer requirements are fulfilled.
In case the remote control request command is not sent to the mobile device, make sure that the Sophos Mobile server is able to connect to all necessary URLs and ports for TeamViewer. Also, make sure the device in question has the latest Sophos Mobile Control app installed.
