The Sophos Network Threat Protection component fails to install when running the InstallSophosNTPLWF custom action. As a result, in the installation log file the following error message can be see:
CustomAction InstallSophosNTPLWF returned actual error code 1603 (note this may not be 100% accurate if translation happened inside sandbox)
On closer inspection of the preceding lines, the custom action has failed with the following message:
WixQuietExec64: Error 0x8007a029: Failed in ExecCommon method
This specific error is returned if the number of NDIS filters installed on the computer reaches the default limit of 8.
