We have identified an issue in that if you modify or clone a Web Control or Peripheral Control policy in Sophos Central the machines will receive a policy stating that the policy is disabled.
Development are working on this with the highest priority and we would advise customers to avoid changing these policies at this point in time.
Applies to the following Sophos products and versions Sophos Central Admin
You may need to make a change to the Web Control Policy and/or the Peripheral Policy in order to trigger a policy being sent down to machines/
Customers that modify or clone an existing Web Control or Peripheral Control policy will see that the policy sent down to the endpoint is disabled.
The only workaround at this point in time is to create a brand new policy and assign this to machines and/or users. The new policy can be amended after creation without the policy being subsequently disabled.
There is no workaround available at this point in time.
An update will provided following investigation by development
