When importing a Sophos Mobile configuration file within Sophos Central Mobile the error "Import failed" is shown.
A possible reason for this error could be that the configuration file which should be imported contains old default profiles "IPAD_EXAMPLE_MOBILECONFIG" and "IPHONE_EXAMPLE_MOBILECONFIG" which were part of the default installation of Sophos Mobile.
These two profiles were created with the same identifier which now cause the error when the configuration should be imported..
This article describes the steps to remove these two old profiles and create a new configuration file which can be imported successfully within Sophos Central.

To create a compatible configuration file, the two problematic profiles have to be removed first.
Using this newly created configuration file, the import within Sophos Central should now work.
