It has been noted that some customers are noticing that the System TEMP directory on their Guest VMs (C:\Windows\Temp) can become full of files and folders listed in the Sophos Guest VM Deployment Service directory; this is using up significant disk space and some customers are performing a knock-on impact from this. Affected customers will see the C:\Windows\Temp\Sophos Guest VM Deployment Agent\ directory contain numerous folders such as the below:
There is currently a bug in the Sophos Guest VM Deployment service on protected Guest VMs which interferes with the automatic purge of these folders and results in them being left behind indefinitely.

Sophos are planning to address this issue in the next version of Sophos for Virtual Environments (1.3.0). Following this release the folders should be more regularly cleaned up.
