This article describes the steps to bridge an external Sophos wireless access point to LAN. The following sections are covered:

In this example, we are using Port3 for LAN which has a switch connected to it.
Go to Network > DHCP and click Add.
Create DHCP server for Port3 interface.
Go to Wireless > Wireless Networks and click on Add.
Make sure to set the Client traffic as Bridge to AP LAN.
Once completed, it looks like this:
At this point we can connect the access point to the switch behind Port3 of the XG Firewall. It will get an IP address from the configured DHCP server and will eventually show up in Pending Access Points section under Wireless > Access Points.
Click on Accept to configure the access point and assign the wireless networks.
Once the access point shows as Active, you should be able to join the wireless networks that are bridged to the LAN network on Port3.
To access the internet you need to create a firewall rule to allow outbound traffic. Go to Firewall and click on + Add Firewall Rule to select User/Network Rule.
