The latest version of Sophos Central Server Protection includes a host of advanced technologies, including Deep Learning malware detection, anti-exploit and anti-hacker protection, and root cause analysis (RCA). The Server Protection subscription names have also been updated to better reflect the new capabilities on offer.

On July 24, 2018 we completed the release of Intercept X for Server features to all customers. Existing policies will have the new Intercept X for Server features disabled; customers may also need to enable Malicious Traffic Detection and Security Heartbeat if these were not previously enabled.
Note: Any new policies that you create will have many of these features enabled. (See How to enable new features for new customers below for more details).
Customers who create Sophos Central accounts from July 17, 2018 will have many of the Intercept X for Server features enabled by default in their policies. Customers should review their policy settings and test the ‘Advanced exploit mitigation settings’ before enabling these features on their servers.
(This information will also apply to new policies created by existing customers after July 24, 2018).
