This article describes the steps to workaround the issue when MTA service shown in DEAD state after firmware upgrade.
Applies to the following Sophos products and versions Sophos Firewall
Go to Email > General Settings and click Apply in the SMTP TLS Configuration section.
Login to the command line interface (CLI), choose option 5. Device Management and option 3. Advanced Shell to run the following command:
service -ds nosync awarrenmta:restart
