Cyberoam Central Console (CCC) Alert Notification feature allows administrator to create alert profiles for various events taking place in managed Cyberoam appliances and send alert Email notifications to the configured Email addresses.
To get an Email notification for VPN connection status of managed appliance(s), you need to configure an Alert Profile for the same.
Step1: Create an Alert Profile
Go to Management Console > Appliance Monitoring > Alerts > Profile and click Add to create a new alert profile.
Create an alert profile with following parameters:
Specify name of the alert profile.
Sent email(s) alert to
Specify Email address(es) to send alert email notification.
Select appliance(s) to be monitored for alerts.
VPN connection status change
Select criteria to generate alerts.
Click OK to complete the process. The created alert profile will be displayed at Management Console > Appliance Monitoring > Alerts > Profile page.
Step 2: Configure Email Notification Settings
Mail Server Settings
Mail Server IP Address/FQDN - Port
220.127.116.11 - 25
Specify IP address/ FQDN for mail server along with port number.
From Email Address
Specify ‘From’ Email address to send alert email notification
Sent Notifications to Email Address
Specify ‘To’ Email address to send alert email notification.
Click OK to complete the Email Server configuration.
