When upgrading a Sophos Access Point running Sophos Central Wireless from the current versions 1.10.1-4 to the upcoming version 1.15, there is a possibility for some APs to be displayed in Sophos Central Admin as Offline.
Applies to the following Sophos product(s) and version(s) Sophos Central WirelessSophos Central Admin
In isolated cases, Sophos Central Wireless users may observe that some or all of their access points are displayed as Offline in Central Admin after upgrading to the latest firmware version 1.15. As a result of this state, any wireless networks assigned to affected APs will be down, so users will experience loss of wireless service if this issue is observed. Re-registering any affected APs will resolve the issue.
This issue is resolved in version 1.15, so future upgrades will not be affected. However, as the fix is not in the current versions of 1.10, Central Wireless users with affected APs will need to follow the steps detailed in the What to do section below after upgrading to version 1.15.
The upgrade to version 1.15 is a staged release, so Central Wireless users will see the new version rollout happening over the next four weeks based on their region.
Repeat steps #2 through #6 for any other affected APs
