This article describes the steps to configure the RED (Remote Ethernet Device) when it's used with Sophos Firewall, to pass PCI DSS compliance check. The following sections are covered:
Applies to the following Sophos products and versions Sophos Firewall v16.01 MR2 and above
Go to System Services > RED and enable Force TLS 1.2.
Note: TLS 1.0 is supported by default.
RED devices running older RED Firmware will be unable to pair to firewalls not supporting TLS 1.0. After being paired and updated, they will support stronger encryption.
