Time Machine backups may take a longer time, or hang when using SAV for OS X 9.5.2.
This is due to a resource management issue when scanning during time machine backups.
This is corrected in 9.5.3, which starts staggered release on October 20th-26th.
Applies to the following Sophos products and versions Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac OS X 9.5.2Sophos Cloud Managed Endpoint 9.5.2 (Mac)
There is no current workaround for this other than manually turning off scanning while taking a backup.
Please upgrade to 9.5.3 once it is available. This is automatic for any customers using Sophos Central, Home, and On Premise customers using the Recommended and Preview subscriptions.
9.5.3 will be a staggered release to Central and On Premise customers over the week starting the 20th of October. Home customers will recieve it on October 25th.
