This article describes how to configure computers, running Sophos Anti-Virus and usually managed by Enterprise Console, to update from Sophos, should your primary server be inaccessible.
These instructions will be useful on computers that are not always on the network, e.g. laptops that are sometimes used away from the office without a connection to the internal network. Once configured, endpoints will be able to update from Sophos when the primary updating source is unavailable.
