This article describes how to centrally configure the endpoints managed by the Enterprise Console to update from Sophos in cases when the primary updating location is inaccessible. For instance, computers like laptops that are sometimes not connected to the internal network.

The endpoints on the Enterprise Console will show Awaiting policy transfer but will eventually change to Same as policy. The secondary updating details will be used if the primary server is unavailable.
