This article describes the steps to view VPN logs from the console. The following sections are covered:

Follow the steps below to get VPN Logs using the Sophos Firewall (SF) CLI Console:
Log in to the SF CLI Console on SSH.
Choose option 4. SF Console and execute the following commands at the console prompt:
Command: show vpn IPSec-logs
how vpn IPSec-logs
Command: show vpn L2TP-logs
show vpn L2TP-logs
Command: show vpn PPTP-logs
show vpn PPTP-logs
For SSL VPN:
The SSL VPN logs are not available from the console, we first need to switch to Advanced Shell,
tail -f /log/sslvpn.log
