You must be logged in to the Admin Console as an administrator with Read-Write permissions for the relevant feature(s).
Create an application filter policy which denies access to Google Drive. This policy restricts the downloaded and running Google Drive app(s) on user machines.
Note: The device is shipped with the following predefined policies for applications: Allow All and Deny All. These two predefined policies are available for use until configured otherwise. You can also define custom policies to define different levels of access for different users in order to meet your organization’s requirements.
Apply the policy to all users in the network
You can apply the policy through a Security Policy so that it is applied to all traffic that matches the rule.
Note: Blocking Google QUIC Protocol and enabling Decrypt & Scan HTTPS are often necessary to block Google Drive. If Decrypt and Scan is enabled the XG's SSL Certificate will need to be installed on client computers.
Apply the policy to a selected user/user group
You can apply the policies to individual users or user groups. As an example, the policies have been applied to a user named John Smith and a group named Marketing. Individual applications of the rule can also be implemented in the same way.
