Sophos XG Firewall supports FQDN Hosts that define an entry by the Fully Qualified Domain Name which resolve to the IP address as found by DNS requests.This allows for dynamically assigned IP addresses to be used as host definitions.

Administrators can configure FQDN hosts instead of IP addresses for:
Note: FQDN hosts do not support multiple domains resolving to a single IP address.
The domain www.example.com, resolves to multiple IP Addresses. If you want to create a User/Network rule which allows all traffic destined for www.example.com, then create an FQDN Host which you can use to create the User/Network Rule.
