This knowledge base article provides the information about licenses, license schedules, keys, and activation that you will need to get started with the Sophos products you have purchased. Please follow the instructions and links provided below.

The License Schedule includes Serial Number(s) and/or License Keys. Use the Serial Number to register your product via the Web console, on the System > Maintenance > Licensing page or from your MySophos account. You will not be able to use your product without registration.
If you have License Keys on the License Schedule then these need to be used to activate or renew subscription(s) on products that are already registered. You can do this from the product’s Web console or on MySophos. Please follow the articles below for further information:
If you have purchased Virtual or Software products, download the installers from the Network Protection section in MySophos. If you need to create an account then select the Create Sophos ID link from MySophos.
The License Schedule includes one or more license keys that you will need to apply in the MyUTM license management portal to create your UTM license. Please follow the MyUTM User Guide.
Note: Customers who have converted an XG appliance, or an SG appliance running XG Firewall to a UTM appliance, must email Customer Care with the reseller's contact details, XG model and serial number, and the invoice or PO number, to get a UTM license.
Once you have received the activation keys by email after purchasing an iView Setup license, you must use these keys in order to create your license or upgrade an existing license. To activate a license, you have to log in to the MyUTM Portal and visit the license management page. At the top of the page is a form where you can cut and paste the activation key from the email into this field. For more information see the MyUTM User Guide.
Note: Sophos iView1 is no longer available for download but is still supported for existing deployment.
You will get a separate email for each type of appliance purchased (e.g. web appliance and/or email appliance) providing setup instructions and required activation code(s).
The activation code is applied during the setup wizard only. If you have passed through the setup wizard, there is no way to change the activation code unless you sign up for trial. There will be a red link at the upper left hand corner where you can change from trial to a legitimate one provided that you have chosen the 30 day trial during the setup.
The link to your License File is in the License Schedule, under Licenses. Open the link and save the file using File > Save As on your desktop, making sure the file type is .xml. You will then need to import the License File into your Policy Editor or Management Center.
On your Management Center go to Users and Computers > Licenses tab > Import license file....
The license key is in the License Schedule, under Licenses. This has to be applied during the installation on the respective step of the installation wizard in the web console.
On renewal, log into the superadmin customer and navigate to the license tab on System > System setup. Apply the key Mobile Control (Key) as Standard license key.
There are two license keys in the License Schedule, under Licenses.
On renewal, please log into the superadmin customer and navigate to the license tab on System > System setup. Apply the key Mobile Control (Key) as Standard license key and the key Mobile Control Module as Advanced license key.
You will get a separate activation email sent to the technical administrator for the account, which explains how to access Sophos Mobile Control as a Service and how get to your initial login credentials.
At renewal, your license is extended automatically.

Once logged in into the Sophos Mobile Control web console, go to Settings > System setup and apply the Mobile Control Module license key on the license tab. At renewal, your account will be automatically extended. You will need to apply the Mobile Control Module license key as Advanced license key in the web console license tab on Settings > System setup.
Your account is being set up now. You will shortly receive an additional email from Sophos requesting the details required to finalize that set up.
The license schedule includes your license key for Sophos Clean. You must apply the license key to each device using Sophos Clean.

To get access to all the non-UTM product downloads you are entitled to, you will need to have a Sophos ID account. From there, you can associate your credentials with MySophos. Refer to Sophos ID - creating and using your account for the details on how to do this.
In summary, to download your product please follow the three simple steps below:
