When the Sophos Bootable Anti-Virus (SBAV) runs a scan the log file(s) is stored in the /tmp folder and you may want to copy the files from the computer while SBAV is running.
This article provides an example of how you can copy a log from the default tmp folder to a mounted USB pen drive.
Applies to the following Sophos products and versions Sophos Bootable Anti-Virus
With the computer booted and SBAV loaded, after the scan, and from the Main Menu:
mount /dev/sdb1 /media/usbdrive/
To copy the files from the temporary SBAV folder to the mounted drive:
cp /tmp/sweep-SCANNAME-log.txt /media/usbdrive/
cp /tmp/sweep-disnfect-log.txt /media/usbdrive/
cp /tmp/*.txt /media/usbdrive/
