During log on the following message is being displayed:
This message is showing because the built-in Competitor Removal Tool (CRT) has not removed the start-up registry key, for example:
Key: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\ Value: MSC Data: c:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Client\msseces.exe" -hide -runkey
c:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Client\msseces.exe" -hide -runkey
This error message can be safely dismissed in the first instance or just have the MSC registry key deleted to prevent it from showing further.
