Either the Sophos Remote Management System's (RMS) 'AdapterStorage' directory cannot be deleted or the 'Endpoint' directory of Sophos Management Communications System (MCS) cannot be removed.
If the problem is with removing the 'Adapter' storage directory of RMS:
C:\Documents and settings\All Users\Application Data\Sophos\Remote Management System\3\Agent\
C:\ProgramData\Sophos\Remote Management System\3\Agent\
If the problem is removing the 'Endpoint' directory of MCS:
C:\Documents and settings\All Users\Application Data\Sophos\Management Communications system\
C:\ProgramData\Sophos\Management Communications System\
Note: Please ensure that before running the installer again no Explorer windows or command prompts are open that could be accessing the above directories.
If the above suggestions do not help, it may be required to remove existing Sophos products before attempting an installation of Sophos Central.
