"Wanna" ransomware outbreak. Please see this Sophos article sophos.com/kb/126733 for advice on how to protect your organization. Immediate action recommended.
This article explains how to get a listing of the number of rows and size of the tables in the Sophos core database. On a system where you need to know the number of rows and the size of the tables, you can run this query to get the important data.
Applies to the following Sophos product(s) and version(s) Enterprise Console
Download this file and save to the computer hosting the Sophos core database: SQL file to output disk space usage
sqlcmd -E -S (server)\(instance) -d SOPHOSXX -i diskusage.sql.txt -o DiskSpaceOutput.txt
Replace server, instance, and sophosxx with the appropriate information (.\ is local with no name, .\sophos is the default). See article 17323 for more information on database naming conventions.
This outputs (to the DiskSpaceOutput.txt file) the number of rows, used memory, and allocated memory for each table.
