This article describes the steps how to get the Sophos Mobile Control iOS app to synchronize again with the Sophos Mobile Control (SMC) server after the app was uninstalled and reinstalled by the user. The following sections are covered:

To get the Sophos Mobile Control app back into a managed status where it successfully synchronizes, different options exist.
Option 1 - Run the "Reconfigure SMC app" action via Self Service Portal (SSP) Note: This option only works, if the SSP is enabled within your company and the action Reconfigure SMC app is activated for it.
If the Self Service Portal is opened directly on the device where the app is installed, the following two options exist:
