The following settings control which severity of updates trigger an e-mail alert.
NEW! SAV9.x no longer logs every successful update as 'fatal'. However, at current, console users will still need to edit their policy to prevent alerts for successful updates being sent. See KBA: Configure E-mail Alerts for updates
NEW! These are no longer the only settings that might have an impact on e-mail alerts. See 'SendEmailMsgID' settings below.
E-mail alerts can be sent for any event that occurs in the savd.log, based on the event name. By default this list contains:
NOTE: SendEmailMsgID is evaluated on an OR basis with the other scanning settings. For example, if SendThreatEmail is enabled, a threat detection email will be sent without anything being added to SendEmailMsgID.
