Known to apply to the following Sophos product(s) and version(s) All Sophos Small Business SBE licenses: Sophos Security Suite SBE, Sophos Computer Security SBE and Sophos Anti-Virus SBE, Sophos Control Center
Operating systems Windows Server 2012.
If you are using SCC and require a management console that will, in the future, allow you to install and run on Windows Server 2012, you will need to upgrade your license to the appropriate new license (Sophos Antivirus – Business or Sophos Endpoint Protection – Business). This will replace your existing Control Center with the Sophos Enterprise Console. If you are an existing SBE customer you can take advantage of the simple, free, migration to the new business products.
Important: If you perform this upgrade, be aware that Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012 support for the Enterprise Console will become available at the beginning of 2013. For full information on upgrading to 'Sophos Antivirus - Business', or 'Sophos Endpoint Protection - Business' products, refer to the Small Business Upgrade Center.
