The RED 10 appliance rev.2 and rev.3 has ten status LEDs. There are no buttons, LCD display, or user interface to interact with. The ten LEDs may be used to determine the status and connectivity of the device. Status and error messages are relayed entirely through the pattern of LEDs lit solid, blinking, or unlit. This article explains the meaning of the various outputs of this limited interface.

When no error occurs, the lights are either on continuously (i.e. not flashing) or unlit, indicating the labelled status of the LED. The current state (phase) is shown by a flashing green LED.
