SafeGuard Client is protected with Device Encryption module Power-on Authentication (POA) is set to disabled.
When logging on to on a machine using the SafeGuard Credential Provider, following error message will be shown: "Sorry, access to this computer is locked".

The computer account is neither disabled nor locked down in the Active Directory.

Reboot the machine and press "F2" to disrupt the POA autologon when the message "Autologon will continue shortly" is displayed. Choose "Recovery" to initiate a Challenge/Response procedure.

Possible root causes for this behavior are described in KBA 118489 "SafeGuard Power-on Authentication does not allow to logon and shows "Workstation is locked! Perform Challenge/Response to unlock".
