In Enterprise Console, Update Managers view, the Configuration column shows the following status for one or more Update Managers:
Does not match
First seen in Sophos Update Manager
The Update Manager has been uninstalled and re-installed on the same computer, the Update Manager’s configuration has been manually changed (not recommended), or the Enterprise Console database has been restored to a previous version that contained a different configuration for the Update Manager.
Additionally, if you have recently upgraded Update Manager version (e.g., 220.127.116.11 to 18.104.22.168) and you have the same product (version of Endpoint Security and Control) in multiple software subscriptions you may also see this issue. Note that in this situation, the Update Manager configuration is still correct and the product updates will still be downloaded.
Right-click the affected Update Manager(s) in the list and select 'Comply with Configuration'. The status should change to ‘Matches’ once the Update Manager has received the new configuration.
