In SafeGuard Enterprise, it is not possible to create a key twice. Every key has the date and the time as part of its name, which prevents the key from being recreated. The main reason for using SafeGuard Portable is to let users access and edit encrypted files. However, it is possible to encrypt files on a USB medium with an existing key. To do this, please do the following:
Please note: When closing SGPortable, the file is not decrypted whereas a decrypted file will always be encrypted upon closing.
