Issue SafeGuard Enterprise allocates a large amount of memory when synchronizing the Active Directory structure via API
Known to apply to the following Sophos product(s) and version(s) SafeGuard Management Center / Local Policy Editor
Operating systems All supported Operating Systems
Within the SafeGuard Enterprise API there is a function available that frees-up used memory. By using this function regularly, you can prevent the computer from getting into an "out of memory" state. We recommend you use this functionality after you have synchronized every OU. Please note that even if the OU does not contain many objects it is possible that those objects have multiple memberships to certain Groups.
Please use the SafeGuard Enterprise API manual, for further information regarding How to free up resources.
