  • Microsoft doesn't keep a list of KB Articles to CURL and check against so the best we could do is query the patch table in OSQuery against the install date to see when the system was last patched.

The only information we could get is about the applied patches.

    SELECT
        hotfix_id,
        description,
        installed_by,
        installed_on
    FROM patches;

  • Hi RaviSoni, thank you and sorry for my poor knowledge, I've just started to build queries but how can I get the result sorted by date?

Indeed I need to know when was the last patched installed, to finally get a list of all laptops/PCs that were last patched (windows updated) > (today - 60 days).

Hopemy request is clear and really thank you in advance for your help!

  • SELECT
        hotfix_id,
        description,
        installed_by,
        installed_on
    FROM patches
ORDER BY installed_on DESC; -- to sort by latest installation date

You can copy/paste this code that will list all the installed patches sorted by the latest installed date.

  • Thank you but it doesn't work!

Indeed "installed_on" is a string field, how to convert it as a real date?

Goal is to be able to get a list of all laptops/PCs that were last patched (windows updated) with [installed_on > (today - 60 days)]

    Tahnks again for your help!
