Hello All,
I work at a University, and we are transitioning from Microsoft System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection to Sophos Cloud.
I was working with my co-worker and we decided that the best way to approach the situation is to use SCOM.
We ran the file recommended on the install and got the Sophos Cloud to install.
Sophos....-q -tps
However, after the computer restarted (our test machine), we got an error message stating that Microsoft System Center 2012 EndPoint Protection cannot start....
We then figured out that in MSconfig, the Microsoft System Center 2012 EndPoint Protection was still checked for startup.
The question we have...
What is the best way to get rid of the old microsoft product from msconfig?
Should we just go to the registry key location, and have it deleted?
What would be a good way to approach this from Microsoft SCOM?'
We got a deployment package working, but will need to amend this to remove Microsoft System Center 2012 EndPoint Protection from MSconfig.
Thanks.
