Problems uninstalling Endpoint from a machine that was reloaded from a image. Doesn't seem to contact the Cloud to figure out it was deleted.

Question

I had Endpoint installed on the machine when I did the image of the machine. I had to reinstall the image last night and found that I had the Endpoint software already installed. At some point I deleted the machine from the Cloud and now it is asking for the tamper protection password so that I can uninstall it. I don't have that password anymore being I have nothing on my account being I don't want a monthly fee. The machine doesn't seem to want to contact the Cloud to find that it has no home and allow it to be uninstalled.

 I am sorry to hear you want to remove Sophos Cloud. However, you can follow this article on removing the software when Tamper protection is enabled and you deleted it form the Cloud Dashboard: https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-US/123743
